I'm older, and the metaphor didn't occur to me. But then, I find the music of it annoying as well, so didn't listen to it all that closely.
Huh, I guess 50s music really was filthy-dirty.
The song I hate the most in Fallout 4 has to be "Grandma Plays The Numbers" though. It isn't even a song, just a mental disorder.
Imo Fallout NV had the best radio songs (Mojave Music Radio & Radio New Vegas), you really get that Western/Vegas feeling when listening to it. Fallout 4 radio (except the classic station) felt a bit dull.

Butcher Pete is not the only bawdy and innuendo-filled song. Have you considered what "Rocket 69" is really about?
It's just I never really noticed until all the really dirty stuff was gathered in one place like this. :P
