Anybody else? Free DLCs?

It seems that no matter what Bethesda game I play, be it tes or fallout, I get all the DLC for free in .esm form. I want to preface this by saying I don't pirate the games (anymore) and I have never been interested in pirating the DLCs when I had.

Just a small story, but I never heard about the DLC coming out or anything, and you can check my steam account I don't have a season pass or anything, but when I load up NMM to go play some fallout 4 I was looking through my .esm's to see what mods I had installed and suddenly I see this new one "DLCrobot.esm" and this isn't the first time I just got this too, because I did the same thing with Skyrim and got the DLCs for Dawnguard and hearthome.

I don't say I don't want these.... but it seems like theres a problem somewhere, either by NMM giving me the DLC, or it being shared to my account for no reason.... I don't know....

If anyone else has this uhh "issue" say so please.

You know, that's intersting to think about. The DLC's are just plugin files - like all the other mods. There is, as far as I know, no DRM associated with the plugins (unlike the .exe to run the game itself).

What *is* stopping people from doing that? Or rather, doing that in large enough numbers that its not worth selling these DLC anymore. Because, let's face it, both the DLC are kind of dissapointing coming from the *studio* as they're basically what modders either have already done or what they could do as soon as the GECK is released. Far Harbor is looking to be the first (and possibly only) DLC that we would *need* BGS to do - new assets, extensive scripting, quest writing.

what is stopping you from taking that candy bar from the store? its called your moral fiber. Cuz it seems like you think its okay to steal something if you dont like it. Why would you want to steal something you dont like?

i know that in skyrim having dlc that you don't own could lead to crashes. it installed mine on the laptop of a friend by accident when i logged in on it and he had to delete in manually.
