Just be very careful with installation and use of any mods. Read everything before you decide to download and install.
Too bad the game doesnt allow me to build roads into the ground -.-
It's not really what you want, but I personally find the mod fantastic
Though I just found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1843/? (Pre-Apocalyptic roads and sidewalks for Sanctuary)
Maybe keep an eye on the author or the keywords for future searches. GECK should hopefully come soon and bring what you want if not the new link.
lol ok, just beat me to it then!
I won't guarantee they snap together
You mean the place everywhere mod on nexus?
It's also a nifty tool that lets you place objects wherever you want, and here's a neat little thing they don't advertise it can do:
You can build outside of the building area, and literally build anywhere as long as the workshop interface is open
EDIT

Precise Object moving And Rotation
An Autohotkey script to allow you to move objects in the gameworld through the console.
If you have a mod that allows you to place a road segment then that segment will land on top of the ground. This would allow you to lower it into the ground, rotate it, slide it around, whatever - far more precisely than the default control scheme.
Still get red lines when trying to place floor tiles into the ground to build roads. :(
Thank you so much for this, necro or not. I would never have found that mod otherwise, and a placeable roads mod was exactly what I was looking for.
