[SOLVED]Why my Vault Boy's tongue hanging out?(INT=11)
Since yesterday, the Vault Boy on the Pip-Boy status tab changed, from a smiling face to a low intelligence face(tongue hanging out). I checked my Intelligence, it's still 11. I'm healthy and don't have any buff/debuff on me except the molerat disease.
Is this a BUG?
Thanks!

I don't think so, since my character never drinks(except once during the drinking buddy quest). Chems, hmm, I only use Stimpaks, Radaway, and Rad-X.

It could be that this is a programming error where your character going over 10 int wraps around and the game thinks you're at 1 int. This is one of the most common errors when it comes to rounding or numbers in programming.

It could be. But my INT hit 11 long times ago, this tongue thing happened recently.

I had that forever due to Molerat Disease. :steamsad: Did you just visit Vault 81?
my pipboy image also had it's tongue hanging out all the time. I have no idea why, but maybe it has some thing to do with water? Like maybe they need to drink some water?

No, it's a classic low intelligence look.

I think you can get addicted to meds, too, though, not just the "chems".

You could try to take some Addictol to see if this changes anything.

SOLVED! You're right! I just checked, I got addicted to Med-X, which didn't show up until just now.

You didn't mention Med-X usage, otherwise we could have told you this right away.

Sorry about that. I only used it like 6 times? Didn't know you can get addicted to it in 5 times... Thats the only "chem" I took.

Awesome. Just try to keep some refreshing beverage or Addictol or the cure-food around if you can help it.

Anyway, there's a little touch of realism for you. How many prescription pharmecuticals are highly addictive? Pretty much anything based on opium (including morphine and codiene - and in Canada, you can get Tylenol 1s (8 mg codiene) over the counter without a prescription. As far as I know, it's the only country that allows this.)

Dude... that's hardcore! Haha! I'll try stop using Med-X, and stick to the "Stimpak+Rad-X+Radaway" combo.
