safe to remove mods with no scripts?
I'm trying to reduce my mods but the thing is that I've been using these mods from the start, so I can't go back to a point before using them. But the mods I have are mostly non-scripted, Armor, weapons & visual mods.

So if I remove mods like "Fallout HD reworked project", "vivid trees, rocks, landscapes", and some armor mods, and keep playing with the same save, will that cause problems?

Appreciate your help.

Mods without scrips are safe to remove. Retextures are possibly the safest to remove.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to remove HD Reworked and vivid fallout? Not only do they make the game look better but vivid fallout is less v-ram heavy than the vanilla textures.

But yeah, texture mods are almost always safe to remove, and weapon and armor mods are usually pretty safe to remove as well. Quest mods, new lands, overhauls, etc. things like that usually need more care when uninstalling.

I'm not doing this to increase performance. I'm getting some crashes and annoying glitches (visual artifacts and a sound disappearing bug) and I'm just trying to find the source by disabling the mods. Thanks for the tips by the way. I don't use any quest, new lands, overhauls mods precisely for that reason, trying to keep my game as stable as possible. :)

But I met with a friend today and he has 111 mods with 99 plugins, and he never had a crash in 137 hours except those induced by his hardware when things got too intense. He doesn't have mods like vivid and HD reworked so I'm trying to see if they are the problem.
