weird shadow glitch on guns

i haven't played fallout 4 in a while so i havent played for a few updates (not sure if its connected, like if it was a problem with a reacent update) i've never had this before, but i opened the game today and i noticed the end of all my guns (the end closest to the player) had a weird shadow glitch like its all black, anyway its getting really annoying ive messed around with a few settings but nothing really helped. anyone have a simlar problem or a fix?

I have a shadow over my Pip-Boy which makes it unreadable. Got the game a while back and played a little with no such issue. Just picked it back up today intending to finally give it a good playthrough but it is unplayable in this condition.

I was able to solve my issue with suggestions on the above mentioned thread. Not sure if this will apply to your problem but it may be worth a look. Hope it helps you.
