The Mechanist Battle bug
Sparks more mines! Sparks more mines! Coils, and fuel tanks!
So when does he finish doing this because He isn't hitting me. No robots on the conveyor system, spotlights are taken out.
Do I kill sparks? I don't want anyone to spoil how to beat this guy. I tried looking at all the holotapes I have even the elevators the robots come in from.

Alright I have no idea what's going on. I tried making robots, walking around looking for a way to get to the machinst.

30 minutes later in this battle, machinst is still telling sparks to do stuff to attack me. I'm just sitting here in the dark and hidden waiting for him to end his attack.

There are three doors on the floor with lights all around them, bots are supposed to come out of those as well, but sometimes they don't and become trapped underneath, which prevents the combat from actually finishing.

Great -_-;. So. . . do I reload a save from the entire layer or can I start from the beginning of the fight?
I want to avoid pushing it through with console commands if possible. I see no way to actively progress the fight by sitting in this room walking around trying to activate something or get hit by fuel tanks.

It bugs out if you kill all the robots on the overhead conveyors. Don't shoot them until they've been dropped.

Or you can Collect the voice samples on the holotapes to unlock the elevator and sneak inside the Mechanist's quarters and ninja from behind

Okay not killing the robots on the overhead conveyors worked. It allowed dialogue for the Mechanist to continue. Thanks!

this topic is from 2016 and still no fix from bethesda ? wtf, we buy DLC to have FUN not bugs, this ♥♥♥♥ on survival will gonna cost me an afternoon... :steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamthumbsdown:

No mod fixes either. Just skip it go through using the 3 holotapes and the elevator.

Not even console commands fix the issue wtf is that mission anyhow?
