if your gpu is struggling with vram textures wont load properly and those "low res textures"
R9 200's arent exactly packed with Vram + this game's engine is very "dodgy"
you'd be better off setting game textures on medium you will have a lot less badly loaded textures issues and its same quality as Ultra
don't believe me read here:
http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/fallout-4-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide
nope the difference is barely noticable
you need a microscope to notice it
maybe its just me i like to not push my GPU to the limits
if game still looks great and my GPU has breathing room
its a win win for me :P
