Pinned Failure

So I purposefully failed Pinned so I could get the Minutemen ending but after I completed Banished From The Institute I haven't gotten any more quests.

have you completed "form ranks" or "defend the castle"?

after those quests you get the "nuclear option" quest from Preston Garvy.

Yes I have claimed the Castle, I have not recieved Form Ranks yet. I haven't even started Our Powers Combined.

Should I load a previous save and assault the Insitute head on to get Form Ranks?

According to the wiki "later on" you will get the quest Defend the Castle. So randomly you will get the warning from Preston is how that quest usually starts, but going the main route it usually starts pretty soon. Depends on how bad you ticked Father off maybe?

I tried reloading a previous save and that still didn't work. Maybe I need to progress further into the story?
