Silver Shroud Kendra bug

I am trying to do the Silver Shroud quest line, but when I get to the apartment Kendra is in, I try and enter the building, and only get a black screen with the loading icon in the bottom right.

It stays on this forever, and no matter what I do, changing resolution, windowed mode, verifying cache, previous saves, etc., it keeps happening. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix is?

It's worth a shot, but try dumping some of your inventory off at one of your workbenches in a settlement

It sounds stupid, but I've had Bethesda games where (and just recently in SkyRim and once in Fallout4) if I had too much of 'something' in my inventory I'd either CTD or it would never load

I had the same issue and solved it entering the apartments without followers. To be specific, I had Curie as follower but she was KO so she didn't spawned inside the apartments.
I know it's an old topic, but I read this trying to solve the same issue and did not find anything else on this bug. I hope this helps...
