Brotherhood intro quest.

I've spent hours looking for ghouls, including on rooftops and they're all dead. Anyone know of a work around or anything like that? Also, I've got quests from other sources to talk to the same guy and he's still bugged out.

It's when Halen goes down during the fight, you'll have to redo the fight or use the console

One time I arrived and Danse had killed them all and the quest marker was on him and all I needed to do was talk to him.

Usually when you arrive a the Police Station ghouls are running straight at Danse and the best thing to do is climb the outer wall under which they are running thru and shoot them in the back as they run toward the door to the station. There are usually about 10 to kill before you get the completion. All the ones that you need to kill are between the front entrance to the police station and the outer wall.

I'm about 60 hours into my save after that event and there is no console on survival mode.

I'm on ps4 ( patch 1.7 august 10 , 2016) about 40 hours in on survival and I have the same bug. This bug was first reported in november 2015 and it is still not fixed. If this was a side quest i would understand. But this is one of the main quest lines.

This happened to me too with one of my characters. Didn't matter what I did, Danse wouldn't calm down. With my latest character he decided to talk to me and I got the starter quest for BoH.

Had the same issue, tried to solve it by completing the quest by console.
Result: i had to complete the whole questline afterwards this way since Danse didn't enter Arcjet but ran back.

I`ve got the same issue here, "check your fire" , tried many times in new survive mod. reload save do the quest again and again or save & reload after the quest. It`s all futile...

What if I complete the “Reveille ” quest first, and then this will fix?

I did that quest and it still bugged out. There should be another one quite far into the main quest line that will force it to work, I've not tested it though.

I had tried redo the Fire Support after Reveille too. Played main quests over night :( Didn`t work
I loaded a VERY OLD save that never pass by the road near police station, and this time it worked T_T

=/ I'm already like level 30 something on survival and I don't want to go back to an old save. I wish Bethesda would just fix :(

It's been broken since day 1. If Danse is stuck in a "Check your fire" loop, the only reliable way around the quest is to progress the main story up until the point where the brotherhood makes their entrance and the police station situation is solved on its own.

Or, console commands to progress the quest to next stage. GL with that if you're on survival difficulty though.

I got the brotherhood introduction quest after seeing the airship, but it still does not work.
