Resource you always run out of

Title says it all, for me it's either fiber optics or oil, so getting turrets set up around my settlements is always a hassle

put 3 scavengers in every settlement and empty your junk from the
workbench often, put it in 1 workbench who got supply lines to it
you be amazed huw much junk you collect after a few days and how
quick the workbench is refilled
i never run out of anything after doing that

If you know how to cherry pick scrap at your traders and the other traders it is easy to keep ahead of the demand.

Then if you know where all the shipments are it becomes even easier.

The only time I run short on anything is when I slack off from looting and trading.

The final rank of scrapper is awesome for scrapping guns and armor.

since contraptions dlc, i have been running out of glass. The new glass walls have become my go to for building. Suddenly all those useless bottles are good for something more than dirty water. And like most people, i am always short of abhesive, and steel.

exactly. Sleep i try and keep down to 5 hours a night. Since most people sleep 8 hours a day, i gain a day of life every week. Hurrah.

At first, I always ran out of copper and steel, then after a while ceramic and wood. At level 25 or so I had plenty of resources but pretty soon I ran out of rubber and had plenty of everything else. I bought every bit of rubber I could from the vendors around the Commonwealth but eventually I got fed up of always running out of rubber that I resorted to using console commands to give me loads of rubber.
