Vault Lighting Issues?
Has anyone else noticed that it is very hard to get half decent lighting in vaults? It also does not help that the placeble lights are only area lights, which make it impsoible to get realistic lighting like in other vaults that have pre-baked lighting.

Would it be posible for Bethesda to introduce a lighting bake in feature where you can set up the point lights and then do a bake in to see if it looks how you want it to. This way you could put lights down and test, rinse and repeat.

Anyways I thought that I would just bring this up as it is currently one of the worst thing about the vault building experience. The only other thing is some parts dont realy want to fit together :P

Totally agree! Also why the heck are some lights so dim?

Yep, Bethesda was lazy as hell with the lights and they'll probably never fix it. Gotta go with mods like http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16824/? to fix the brightness and http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17083/? to fix where the light comes from.

Basically every light only lights up one square, so every ceiling needs one. And if, like me, you are trying to make a ceiling two stories up, you're sunk.

But some lights are so dimm, that they don't even light a square.

That basic hanging light bulb is pretty freakin bright. Kills the decorating aspect, but if you only want light, that is a good one.

I use the slim square one, it's pretty bright and it blends well so you won't even notice it most of the time :)

Edit: Blends well in the ceiling. Tho I would really like to see a "will it blend Fallout 4 edition" :D
