does multiple followers break the game?
i got the mod which allows me to get up to 13 followers(the unlimited follower framework) mod

could it break my game? or options in it?
cuz now i got curie the scientis robot, codsworth the robot i used to have and dogmeat of course

so could it break the game?
could i make those robots fall in love or something lol?

I don't see it breaking the game, but I do see you running into script issues, cross-inventory stuff, losing companions etc....Unless by break you mean make it too easy

Personally I use the one that lets me have Dogmeat plus one other

I also use Everyone's Best Friend. Only issue with that one I've noticed is neither Dogmeat or your other companion will want to get into confined spaces (such as elevators) with you. It's fine if the elevator transitions to a seperate map because they both spawn with you, but if it's on the same map, one or both companions will be stuck on the previous floor. :(

actully so far all my 3 companions are loading just fine into the elevator

however my problem is that i want them to be invunerable... killable, i want to be able to protect them against raiders and relaod my game when i fail and one of them dies, or just go without them with a greater challange, but i want that option... essential npc's really sucks i dont know why bethesda did that... this is not skyrim

whats cross inventory??
i just put items in all companions its not shared lol even in vanilla if you dismiss them they will still carry your items

i use the one where you can have dogmeat and a companion at the same time, makes it a bit easier on survival, also i have noticed that some npc actiualy comments if you have both with ya like thats how it was supposed to be original

in my current load of saves, i have 5 warrior women with me so far.
all custom. a sixth custom warrior woman awaits at diamond city.
(sshh, dont tell the mrs..)

its fine in general, but Can sometimes corrupt your savegame, especially when entering an interior, then exiting an interior and saving the save before all the ai have updated.

i think as someone else mentioned, if you use scripted ai, (multiple vanilla follwers, then sometimes some of them just stop following and it all becomes a headache). dosent seem too bad if your squad is all custom followers.

whatever combination you use, its a good idea to make a moveto bat file of your current squad so you can reset their positions and spawn them to you before saving, or to keep the game in flow.

but i know there are quests for the followers thats why i want them all with me...
i just wish there was a WORKING killable mod which makes followers not essential anymore... it really sucks in my opinion

loads of vanilla follwers works for a little bit then just gets messy and buggy and stops working.
i dont know about killing off vanilla followers, but i use plenty of expendable followers for all kinds of things.
just maybe travel with 2 vanilla companions at a time. i guess that way, scripts wont get confused. ive tried more than 2 and its just not worth the hassel. i mean, if you can get it to run smoothly then all good, but more often than not, multiple vanillas go haywire at some point.
(normally i take 1 vanilla follower and a couple of custom followers if i want to advance their storyline).

correct it doesnt. !i want my companions to die and they dont not by me not by others

I have 4 companions following me and have all the available companions recruited and spread around in different settlemts, Curie, Piper, a Custom Companion named Blood Rose, and X6-88 converted into a female are following me, I have a mod installed from Nexus that allows more than one follower to follow you, pernally I like having my mini army blowing people away....it's just more fun for me.

If you have automotons [the work bench] you can tank your bot followers. Have 1 bot companion and get the Total Hack Bots book then Hack/Command a bot of your choice you now have 2 bot companions [or 1 bot and 1 other companion]. The hacked bot will fast travel [sometimes a small delay on thier arrival] and will remain in your controll untill you hack another bot.

You only need command them to a location once. Then TAB out of the interaction interface and they follow/defend like a puppy.
