Fallout 4 help command not working

When I type in the help command follow by the item's name it keeps saying filter 4 and that's with anything I have a mod thats a pistol that i really like its the M9 stand alone and the id to look up is m9 4 or even when i try the bobbypin look up still says filter 4 all the other commands are working just fine anyone got any ideas of how to fix it?

Result: filter 4

Example: help bobby
Result: filter 4

Example: help minigun
Result: filter 4

Does the mod require Armor and Weapon Keywords mod? I have found keyword mods, or the lack of the proper one can cause search errors

Edited to add, are you in survival mode?

Accprding to the mod page it doesn't say anything other than typing in m9 4 to find the item id

i am in survival and i had issues searching for items before the mod. I've tried uninstalling it and trying to search for items ids and still would not work i can however spawn bobbypins only bobbypins ._."

Console commands don't work in survival. If your using a mod to enable them, the mod may need updating.

Then you likely have a mod disabling you console commands. How many are you running? Try disabling mods, start a game, any game except an exit save, and try a general command

Help 10mm 4 weap
Don't save, bring up your pipboy and exit, this prevents an exits save. See if that worked, should add 1 cap and give you a list for the 10mm pistol.

i disabled all my mods expect for the unofficial patch because the patch makes my game run with out it i have a really game breaking textsure glitch and the help command still doesn't work but the 14.additem f 1 worked

i have to run another arror so sorry again for leaving but i am very greatful for the help

Ok, so something broke your keyword search, but your commands still function. While only a solution to getting your modded gun you can still add it to your inventory if you can get its id. Replace "f" with the items I'd, first two digits being it's place in the load order.

If you have time, start a new game with no mods (run the unofficial patch if that's the only way it works) and see if the commands work. It is possible that it's the patch causing it, it seems it gets borked with every new game update. Otherwise another mod could have broken the save.

Some mods you can't look up the IDs for some reason. What you CAN do is put the item in a locker/chest/container that's empty......... then go into console... CLICK on the storage container and enter the command:

showinventory


It will list the ID for you of what's in there.


I know you are saying your search is broken, but at least whether you can or can't look up an item but your commands work... there's one to always find the ID of an item.
