Best Armor legendary prefix?
Just wondering, as I found some bolstering combat armor and realized people probably have different perspectives on what's the best for legendary armor.. I.e chameleon for stealth characters, Bolstering for tanks, cavaliers or sharp for Run and Guns etc..

Go nuts

Unyielding is pretty fun.

Six pieces of Sentinel's gear on a PA guy can be amusing.

I usually take 1 of each damage decreasing set pieces (Human, robot, mirekurk etc)

I like wearing 2 pieces with 50% fall reduc, for fall damage immunity. There's also that one that enhances AP regeneration.

AP regen is the powered variant... I like that too, would be thrilled to have a full set of that

I find mixing it up can help a lot.

Like for survival I like the bonus to sprinting on legs, that +20% to move comes in real handy once fast travel is gone.

Then for other pieces it depends what attributes I am lacking. Like if I have low agility I will use any agility pieces I have to increase agility.

I mostly use sharp gear when I find it because it adds to charisma (for settlement recruiting) and intelligence which gets better xp rewards.

A lot is really going to depend on your luck though. Not every game is going to give you the same legendary pieces or weapons.

Well, that's if you're not using a legendary crafting mod anyway. Which I'll admit to using, because after about the 25th piece of legendary armor that was the regular variant (not Sturdy or Heavy) I got frustrated and said ♥♥♥♥ it.

It depends on the situation. There are so many that can be useful but in order for them to work, you need a combined total of 5-6 pieces of that effect to work.

Has anyone tried multiple pieces of the Auto stim effect? If so, does that become powerful to the point you don't need any stimpaks at all?

Have you tried to use multiple pieces with this effect? Do the effects stack per piece? Is it worth constantly being at <25% health?

As for me I am playing a melee character so it's all Fortifying for me.

Sharp on all my armor pieces, worn with the Dapper Gent hat, black-rim glasses, and a Legend of Vault 88 that I swapped to having the Sharp legenday chacateristic, too.

In my power armor, I run Atom Cats T-60 with the head and torso Sharp, the legs Fortifying, and the arms Cunning. I add the sensory helmet mod, jetpack torso mod, calibrated legs mod, and tesla bracers arm mod.

Once you have the ballistic weave the type of base armor (normal, sturdy, heavy) does not really matter anymore. There is a diminishing return on damage resistance.

The stats on normal armor do not apply while wearing power armor, they are not considered equiped.

Imo, Acrobat/Freefall legs so your escape options when in a firefight expand.

VATS Enchanced cause VATS usage is awesome.

Sharp, Fortifying, Cunning and Lucky effects are good depending on which SPECIAL stat you specalize in.

Other armor effects are kinda situational imo.

I think Captain's either using the Legendary Modifications mod, which lets you add legendary mods to PA at level 20, or using the amod command.

Anything with +movespeed :)
5 chameleon is fun, 5 strength/endurance is alright (it adds a TON of hp at level 200ish)

For Charisma builds you use 5 unyeilding with 75% radiation poisoning :)

Damage reduction from armor is 1-0.5(AttackDamage/Armor)^0.3653
(minimum 1% if armor>0, max 95% unless armor is 1mil+)
It's almost a cube root, so it does level off pretty fast...
With ballistic weave I prefer lighter armor.

Currently running two Lucky pieces for +4 luck with a VATS critical pistol build. Goes well with my +3 from alcohol. Easily get 18 Luck now, fun times.

I just spent a fortune buying ONE piece of Mantis leg armor off Lucas. Cost me 7k caps. Ouch.
