lol. OP, he is joking. My experiences with nexus have been all positive. The mods that won't allow you to use the nexus mod managers should be used with caution. See how many downloads the mod has, look at user response, etc.

Using NMM and it ate my dog.... then I got a cat... but then it ate the cat too... and trying to uninstall it, the came back as... CatDog....

PS. NMM is quite easy to use and safe as long as you READ the mod description pages. There WILL be things one mod will require to run properly, there WILL be conflicts with other mods, but as long as you read the descriptions AND the comments sections, you should be fine.

Also, NMM mods usually gets updated very frequently, can also install mods from other sites as well.

It's so easy even a caveman can do it.

Yes, its fine and is far safer/better way to Mod the game than without it ... But Only If You Download NMM from Nexus and Only Download Mods From Nexus _ Do that and you are good, their files are safe.

Ignore the drama. Always ignore the drama.

Well what about in relation to other games? Like games with really screwy anti-cheats?

I would never do any modding in an anti-cheat game unless it has been confirmed by the developer that it is supported and won't get you banned.

Yeah, of course, but I mean if I keep this open, and play a different game that isn't being modded, would that cause problems?

I doubt it, but I don't see any reason to leave it open. it launches pretty quickly.
compeletly and entirely safe

No. It only modifies the files of the game you're currently modding.
