That is weird. New content available?

I noticed Skyrim was on sale and they are offering a free upgrade to Special Edition in October. I alreayd playe dit on my Xbox but wante dit for my PC.

Anyhow I did the download while playing Fallout 4 and I seen the Steam message say it finished downloading. Thne next thing I know I got a in game message stating new content was available while playing Fallout. Just liek the ones I had received when Vault DLC and Contraptions DLC was available for download.

I know this post is over a year old, but I just had the same thing happen, but I was installing New Vegas while I was playing Fallout 4. Once it finished, I got an on-screen message saying that new add-on content was available.

Yeah must be coincidence of downloading anythign else Bethesda while playing another Bethesda game.

this happened to me while playin and i finished downloading borderlands 3 lol i was like hmm must be a coincidence but nope no new content for fallout 4 in 2020

I can confirm, these come up when any download or installation on Steam is finished.
