Is there a legendary underwear in the game? ^^

Ye, you read right, legendary underwear! :-)
The thing is, Im L114 and my complete armor-build is legendary, except the underwear and I really asked myself: Is this possible, at all?

I really dont think so, but not sure, because ATM I wear a BoS-uniform and never found any better.

Are there?

In my 400 hours of gameplay I dont think so.. though you can upgrade your underwear to be stronger than most armors;)

No, I am not using any mods..

It is secret technique used by one of major factions that you learn by doing quest for them. Not all underwear is upgradable though (and I doubt BOS uniform specificly)

Military Fatigues and Tattered rags (there's more im sure) can be upgraded with Ballistic Weave up to 110 DR and ER assuming you finished the first DIA quest for PAM in the Railroad questline plus you can wear armor parts over it.

No mods.

Well I did nto wanted spoil it entirely, but since it is out.. most of underwear cna be upgraded this way, jsut not all. Ibeliev there is list on wiki.

considdering youve worn your underwear for all that time their DMG resitances are over 9000 and they attract the underwear ghouls whose only job is to make you change

The only legendary undearwear is the vault 88 suit given to the player by Overseer Barstow at the end of the vault tec workshop dlc
It gives you a 15% damage reduction from ghouls but is the only underwear peace in the game that is legendary.
Considering this, it's probably the rarest item in the game since it's one of a kind. Even with a common tier mod.

You can get the legend of the harbour from the Far Harbour dlc, but I think that's full body and overwrites everything but the head slots.

Yes, I was going to mention the Legend of Vault 88 suit. It's the only legendary "underwear" that I know of. Unfortunately, like all vault suits, you can't apply ballistic weave to it. Oh well.

The be fair, radiation resistance is hard to come by and the suit gives you tons of it when fully upgraded

Thats strange, I did all side and main quests up to the point I have to choose a side (three open quests for every point of no return in mainstory). P.A.M. is unable to interact (no communication possible) and Tom is only selling me things. Im pretty sure I made all quest, but I cant upgrade any underwear?
I also finished the Vault 88-questline and got the legendary suit. Pretty good idea, but why cant I upgrade Military fatigues?

Sounds strange. After first DIA cash for PAM, you are reached by Dummer boy that mention Tom wants talk with you - and he teach you use ballistic wave for upgrade udnerwear.

It has a habit of bugging out, has Tinker Tom spoken to you about the Polymer weave you found in the DIA caches yet?

Not sure, the thing is I played t´his missions some month ago and cant remember.
What I found out:
Its a radiant railroad quest named "Jackpot xyz" given by PAM and I don´t have any of them in my finished quests log, so I don't think I already made it.

But I cant start any of the radiant quests. Also with console didn't get the quest to start and the and the npcs dont want to speak with me :(

Looks like people have weird ideas about what is "underwear".. (Usually the stuff that goes under vault suit, for example, which you can't change in FO4..)
