why didn't Betheda increase size of settlements? at least vault 88?
you publish such huge space but in reality, you can barely fill first space without reaching the limit.....

its because the game was built with stone age xbox/ps4 in mind not us pc master race, there are plenty of mods that allow for unlimtid building

It's to stop idiots from constantly spamming structures and crashing the cell
It's more to do the engine restriction, not this "PC master race" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Except what the pc can handle vs. the pathetic stats on con olds are leagues different. But both are capped by the Xbox capabilities. That's why you can build over the limit to reficulois degrees on pc

Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxFb3SI-bxA there are several out there but you can increase your settlment size without mods just by using console commands. I increased my settlements to about tripple what the game limits you to and have had zero issues. It really all depends on your PC. if your game starts slowing down just reduce the objects you have placed.

With all due respect, PC have had a lots of time to Mature to what it's today and console have come from long way to get this far so be grateful because around the 90s Computer back then could only hold 1 GB or less.

dude a console and a pc are the same damn things when you look at it. a console can in fact be just as good as a top of the line pc but it all comes down to $$$$. consoles use parts that they know are going to be out of date in a few years and will force you to buy a all new system where a pc can be upgraded as needed part by part and is limited to only as much as the pc user wants. console = $500 then 5 years later another $500 for new one, pc = $500 gpu set for next 5 years then simply over clock to push it to 8 or even longer depending on new games plus you can do more pc stuffs that consoles cant.

Yeah a console is really not that much different from a computer. Consoles are built to be a closed off computer without the ability to modify the operating system on it nor the hardware. In fact the reason it is the alternative to a gaming PC rig is the fact that it just a mass produced computer with set configuration of hardware. The consoles are cheaper and less flexible when it comes to developers since they have to work within those limits.

Also the settlement size limit was included to keep people from causing issues on the consoles, such as freezing, long load times, and crashing. Most people who play this game on their computers even with the minimum requirements can surpass it easily to different build levels without an issue.

No, not even close. The next gen consoles are the equivalent of 3 year old mid range PC's. Otherwise where are all the 4K console games? Even the next releases of PS4 Neo and Xbox1S, will not have the 4k PC already have now.

Console and pc are the same? Wow can you at least try to quote cpu, gpu, ram, storage speed, etc, before making such a silly claim? If you go to collect this info you are in for a big shock. Three is a reason why my video card cost 2.5x what a PS4 cost. Even if you look at a gtx980, they still cost more by themselves than a PS4. And no, it's not about 'mass producing'. I've seen articles (whith real details) that show a PC can be built at an equivalant power for only a slight amount more. For a lot of us though we would rather pay way more and get something way better.

But hey, lots of reasons to get a console if you want one. Just don't have it for the reason 'they are the same', because that's really not true.

Xbox1S might, the GPU is slightly more powerful than a 980 Ti, combine that with the much lower resource overhead on a console and the lower level API access and it will probably handle 4K 60fps pretty easily.

And the other reason is that nvidia has a higher standard in the gaming market, they set their prices higher to get people to buy them, and make a profit off of it.
At least, that's what i "used" to think.

You see, Nvidia actually has quality video cards, and so does amd when it comes to their actual 900 series, but after the 1000 series it seems they're at least trying to appeal to their customers a bit more, offering cheap alternatives and fair prices.

EVGA GTX 1080: $400
EVGA GTX 1070: $300
EVGA GTX 1060: $200 - $250
At least they're trying with their new series of cards, I own a 1080 personally and It runs smoother than a GTX Titan X (not the new one), and a 980ti any day, with perfect 4k performance, so I'm glad they're at least trying now.
//end Reply

As for consoles, rehashes of integrated amd hardware, they're not "terrible", but they're not by any means "great", they're made cheap, to sell for more, and make profit off of people, if they included nvidia or amd dedicated gaming hardware it's cost a lot more, consoles are your budget gaming machines basically.

Where do you get the statistic that the Xbox GPU is more powerful than a 980 TI?
This is a chart comparing it to some PC GPU's, most of which are blown away by the 980.

It's stated that some of the testing could not be complete because of some ram thing or another, but it would have to be like 4x better to compete with the top PC gpu on the list there.
There may be some point about lower overheads and streamlining for games, but yeah, 4x better just for GPU. What about the CPU?

The article it's from is here:

It's an engine limitation, your computer specs mean jack after a certain point, the engine just can't handle it.
