New GPU is the most useful solution

Seriously? Guess I'll just continue game on PS4. It just looks better and loads faster on pc. Bunch of crap.

I use an AMD card and I think the only crash I ever had was when windows 10 decides to stab me in a groin.

This has nothing to do with Fallout 4 "issues".

If it happens with one program it will happen with another.

The usual cause is a bad driver installation.

You are advised to perform a "clean install" of the Nvidia drivers (from the "custom install" option") and let the system reboot as needed.

Also check to see that your graphics card does not have an OEM overclock, which can also cause similiar issues.

I was using AMD for years and decided this you to go Nvidia. Big mistake. Only have card issues when I use Nvidia. Should have went with a 390X

GTX660, Driver 361.91, no problems (yes, iknow, driver is outdated...but since it works perfectly i'll start no experiments).

Last time i saw nvidia driver crashes here (wifes rig, same as mine) it was faulty hardware. Swapped cards between systems, problem "moved" with the card.

I have an overclocked 670 with 4gb vram and Fallout 4 runs like butter on it, no crashes!

happens to me to in performance heavy games, I get driver crashes occasionally on my GTX 770

I found a registry fix to help it be a bit more stable, just have to change the TDRdelay, here is a link on how to do it.

Mine was default set to 8, I changed it to 10

https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_4/comments/1xzzn4/tdrdelay_10_fixed_my_crashes_since_last_patch/

what it does is give the GPU more time to recover before it crashes, the crashes can and will still happen but not as often now.

thats the card I want to get too, but gotta wait for stock to catch up and price to come back to normal =/

the 1060 is selling for as much $325 - $400 right now cause of high demand, waiting it for it come back down to $250

Thanks but I'll stick to bigger. Used DDU uninstaller and reinstalled driver. All is well.
