The mods are making me sick
Recently I started installing fallout 4 through gamepass and started playing again. As I have already completed the vanilla game many years ago I thought why not mod the game to make things different and spice things up. I ask some of my friends for mod recommendations and they introduced me to nexusmods and loverslab. I downloaded many of the popular mods and now I am shocked to see how the game has turned out. For example when my character and companion dies in combat they get transported to a different place and tied up and get raped and gangbanged by raiders or supermutants. And when I am in a settlement and crafting some random npcs runs up to me and starts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my character like there's no tomorrow. Also all the armor in the game became half clothes like for example when I wear my vault 111 suit my character upper body is exposed. Also I have seen that there are animal sex mods in loverslab. What the hell is this? This is going too far and its crossing the line. I am shocked to see things like this and these mods have millions of downlaods. How is bethesda allowing these to happen?

Then don't use those mods if you don't like them. Bethesda has no say in the matter - they have no ability at all to limit what kind of mods get made. They can choose which ones to host on their own, but there will always be other sites (like the Nexus and loverslab) that they ultimately have no control over.

Its not like this is anything new. These kinds of mods have existed for game since there have been games to mod. And regardless of what steps a company may take to prevent it, there will always be such mods.

But why is there no law against this? Making mods like adding new lore friendly questlines, companions and weapons are fine but making rape mods and animal sex mods are going extremely far. Those mod authors are defiling the real image and meaning of the game and manipulating the game files like this should be illegal.

Some of the mods may in fact be illegal in some areas. Most aren't, as they are only pixels. As such, in some places the ability to make such mods is not only legal, but constitutionally protected free speech.

The mods came in a huge 7zip package not indivisual files. Friends recommended me those mods and I thought it would add new zones, weapons, quests and companions.

Um, going around killing people to get their loot is illegal and horrible in real life too, but it's in the base game. The base game is full to the brink of heads exploding and dismembered bodies. All horribly illegal and terrifying in real life. It's funny what triggers people.

Let's be perfectly honest - If you wanted a game with no "bad" behaviors in it you probably want to play Lego World, or maybe Barbie Fashion Makeover.

btw - A quick google search of "is a cartoon depiction of bestiality illegal" said generally no based on community tastes. which is why millions of GenZ's are not going to prison for "manga" of females being graphically violated by tentacle monsters.

Oops, scratch Lego games off the list. I looked at the Lego series kids games, and the first one I found was Lego Star Wars where you fight and kill your enemies with a light saber. Ages 7 and up. Not joking.

Yeah reading the description of the mod will help a lot to avoid little surprises like those.

Then get new friends. They sound like a bunch of degenerates if they recommended you to DL bestiality mods.

As they said. Also, you can remove those mods and install the one you want. Just make sure to read them before doing so.

And chalk this as lesson learned, and move on.

They introduced you to loverslab pretty much immediately?

Can anyone say red flag? Like first time modding and your mates go "Here's all the sex mods. Go get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by a mutant."

Every game in existence that has mod capability has mods like these. The more popular the game the more mods that exist. For once Bethesda can't be blamed for it, it's just how it goes with any game in existence.
As people said above just delete the mods you don't want, tbh i would suggest you get MO2 or Vortex, delete all your current mods then just browse through the FO4 Nexus and pick which mods you'd like to add.

Honestly, sounds more like a group of guys playing a typical high school level joke on him rather than malice. Although it's possible all OP's friends actively dislike him, I would blame it on an attempt at a joke first.

Which brings up an interesting question for OP - have you discussed this with your "friends" at all before posting here? And what did they say?
