My personal space has been built. It took quite some time :)
Now main entry have other doors to;
· Kitchen
· Infirmary
· Battle Prep

And lastly I'll build some exteriors. And rooms might have some windows then, I wish we could build aquariums, like.. underwater :)

Player Home, not really.
Settlements, yes.

Using Openactorcontainer 2 command in the console allows you to swap out settler gear.

Mods like Sim Settlements with an alternate production system ignores the no production rule of the VR worlds and allows you to use them as if they were real locations.

The Desert Island is too big and flawed though. You can repeat the same problem Spectacle Island has that not all cells of the settlement load which kept leading to corrupt power grids. Since it is essentially a mod it is not covered in the Workshop Framework or UOF4P to load all cells together. Which if it loaded all cells together it quickly becomes the next Triangle of death. You just cannot win either way, lol.

I did do a Children of Atom settlement using Sim Settlements Conqueror a few years ago though using Tinuvia's mods.

hmm, well you used it for a different purpose it seems. I on the other hand, think, it is perfectly suitable for a player base for vanilla survival. Resources are safe there and i can access it from every settlement, after building a VR pod and a computer

erm.. I couldn't watch the video as it is marked as private fyi.

By the way, Kitchen is being built :)

Nah, it is public, it is just age restricted.

You can also use certain mods to create a supply line to the VR workshops, if you havent.

OH this is fantastic! Reminded me MadMax world. That was also a awesome game. I might play it again.

Too many extra workshop items you have there. too many time and effort must have spent on this. It took my half day to build these two rooms :) this is crazy.

speaking of which, i noticed i havent played vault 81 or was it 88. Saw vault workshop items on the video, i need them :D it was after level 20 if i recall correctly.

And a question: I only have grid world in my VR pod, lets say i bought the full cc package of VR and unlocked other worlds. Can i build different bases on each and all of them stay intact seperately?

Yes.

You get:
GNR Plaza (same area as the other CC item)
4 Desert Island locations
Atomic wasteland
Grid

Being a builder this CC item was one of the best.

Well it is half my creation and half Sim Settlement Conqueror plots. Which is why I enjoy SS because I am great at making settlements, but horrible when it comes down to the decorating, lol.

I do have a nice player home I made and decorated though:

Lot of work with Place Everywhere for that turning off physics to keep items stationary and removing the snapping to surface and objects.

Decorating is bitc.h Lol

I dont have any externsl mods, only some cc content, Just VR affects the gameplay others are just skins..

Never got use to modding. It makes me feel dirty ;) Whenever i try, I eventually delete everything and startover. Every single time.

But 'Place everywhere' would be a great help.. I removed entire walls of the kitchen and rebuilt them just because i wanted put some carpet under a few objects which were aligned very close to the walls. One thing took one hour. Walls just didn't snap back until i moved everything outside, built walls and placed everthing back inside.

Yeah, Place Everywhere is an awesome tool.

I use it to create queen sized beds by overlapping two beds side by side.
Turning off surface snapping allows you to place items near walls.
You can replace floor by layering a floor over the existing floor.
Use it to place walls within walls of the original Sanctuary houses so they look patched.
You can turn physics off on items so they no longer fall or get knocked around.

Fallout 76 incorporated the "Place Everywhere" snap removal in the custom servers, Stays on for public servers to prevent exploiting by players.

Completed my base.
· Resting Quarters
· Kitchen
· Infirmary
· Battle Preparation
· And a Storage

And we have a main hall, like a Lobby.

Everything looks so cool, It's like a dream world :) It's completely safe, I can go there from *any* settlement. I wish could choose which VR Pod I want to come back to :D But that would completely remove Survival no-fast travel limitation. Besides you are physically sitting in a pod at a spesific location in the world, that would require teleportation. (still you can carry items in & out somehow)

Although it still feels awkward, knowning the fact that.. I actually am sitting in a VR Pod out in the open, unconsciously, yet feeling too "secure" in my virtual reality. But still it feels too good, what you see is what you believe i guess.. you get use to it anyway.

It gave me the sense of the SOMA game, guys launched the ARK to the space in the end, and i was like.. what's the point of living in a virtual world.. it's not a real deal.. But now, i know how it feels :)) I, on the other hand, now understand the Cipher (in Matrix) Why he sold out Morpheus to the Agents. He wanted to be "someone important", like an actor. Trinity said "But the Matrix isn't Rea!!" and now I see what he meant by replying.. "It can be more real than this world Trinity.."

Anyways :) I'll put more pictures or maybe upload a video to youtube later. Now I want to enter my world :D
