Help me get rid of the Spacesuit Costume
For some reason I picked up like five in the Galactic Zone, and they weigh a ton! However the game won't let me get rid off them because apparently "it's a quest item lulz". Well, where is the quest then? I don't want to waste like 200 cap carrying around this junk

It is the hubbologist quest. You can start it by going to the camp southeast of the entrance.

It's given to you by the Hubologists. Their camp is somewhere to the south of Galactic Zone iirc.

I'm getting to this like.. well, a Vault of time or so, but thanks Will! I don't care about this quest now. I may never care about it. At this point in the game, relieving the constraints around weight are simply a mercy. I don't care about that. I want to finish the main quest line and do so in a meaningful way. I just exterminated the Railroad in favor of the Institute, and now I'm about to do the same to the Brotherhood of Steel. I don't care how much sh*t weighs at this point.

Thanks again!

it's stupid, the game should give people a warning: attention you drop a quets item and may lose it forever if you drop it here or forget about it. And leave it to the player of they wanna drop it for real or not.

Or they could do what they've done in other cases and have quest items treated as weightless.

That was possible with Morrowind, where items still had Quest Item tag, but didn't really prevent you from unequipping/dropping them. Though, looking for 'that one ring you've promised to return to the questgiver' through your three hideouts where you have literally hundreds of items lying loose everywhere was one hell of a quest. Or doing the same in Ultima 7 or IX was fun times.

OP, in case you'd want to remove the suit itself, use these commands:
player.removeitem d2ae 1 player.removeitem 296b8 1
The former removes the Suit from your inventory, the latter - helmet.

The camp is south east, your looking for a guy standing by himeslef near a swap spot. The camp is basicly a old diner I think, anyway it is full of crazy people that will blow your mind away, but will not harm you. So have pity on them...

The camp is in the south-west of the Nuka-World map.

Actually they are weightless. Quest items are always weightless. Drop everything but the suits and check your weight again.

I made this post over two years ago. It's likely been patched since
