LOOKUP FAILED! Error

So around a couple of months ago I stopped playing fallout 4, but had to move the save file to a new computer. The old save was modded a lot, so just a couple of hours ago I put the save file into the save file location in my games in documents. When I clicked load game, all I see on the description of the save is LOOKUP FAILED. When I enter the game, everything that you can interact with says LOOKUP FAILED. The pipboy is just broken, like I can't even see the hud. (If you want me to I can put the mods that were missing and maybe that could help??) But anyways, I deleted that save and all autosaves and made a new game. It still says the same thing LOOKUP FAILED on everything, even on Codsworth... :( But I verified the game cache like 10 times, and just reinstalled it completely, still same errors. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Try deleting the strings folder, forget were it located under th fallout4 folder. Anyway had something close to what you had, deleted the strings folder and fo4 rebuilt it. Now I dont have that Lookup Failed problem.

thank you so much i've been experianceing this issue for a very long time; Now! i can see all the "LOOKUP FAILED!" items from vendors as well as the settlement menu! thanks

Alright, I'll try that and see what happens.

No problem with game files...
I know these bug and how to fix it.
If you are using the MOD "Full Dialogue Interface" update it, or disable it... and you never again see any Lookup.

Since the Fallout 4 1.7 the Strings folders are not used anymore... all the strings are now inside the interface bsa file.

The thing is I'm pretty sure I didn't use that mod on my old save.

i have same problem i deleted the string file and still have the problem and i deleted all my mods

Did you verify the integrity of the game files?

Well it takes like 5 mins (for me and my internet is potato), but yes it does take a couple minutes.

1) Right click on the game in your library
2) Click properties
3) Then click the local files
4) Click verify the integrity
