beta wave emitter question
I've been toying with the idea of capturing a Deathclaw or Gorilla in a cage and using it to protect my settlement. I had a quick look on the wiki for info:
It is important to note that hosting captured non-domesticated creatures of any kind in a settlement will make that settlement the target of regular attacks by other members of the captured species or faction. More often than not, the amount of defenses necessary to repel these attacks outweighs the benefits of the captured creatures by far, especially since the latter will not fight against their own kind. Players are advised to set up independent defenses of sufficient strength before they begin to tame the more powerful creatures.

I understand all this perfecrtly, but i'm building on spectacle island, a settlement made up of lots of cells as is known to disable things outside of your draw distance.

What i'm concered about is twofold;
1) If the beta emitter is on the other side of the island, will the pet animal still be passive?
1a) What is the actual range of the emitter?
2) If the Beta emitter is in a cell not loaded, I assume that the animal will turn hostile?

Having done this myself and got the zero data/unloading bug, I'll tell you my experiances.

1. Yes my cages where at the tug, and my deathclaw liked to hang around the docks, and the shore with the sunken ships just next to it, also it is where my guard posts where.

1a. I do not know, but they seem to be attached to that Bata wave emmiter originally used, been hit and miss with replacing it.

2. It can happen with the bug. Eventually my island bugged out so bad it was constantly mirelurk attacks and I couldn't delete or move anything.

Okay thanks, i've put the beta emitter central-ish so I should mitigate most of the problems
