Have you tried to use the SpawnDupe command?
SpawnDupe – Spawn exactly one duplicate of the selected reference. World objects that contain multiples will only duplicate a single item. E.g. A box of shotgun shells containing 3 shells will only duplicate a box containing 1 shell.
open console and type in:
help "item name" 0
(quotes are important so dont remove them aswell as 0 is important too because it removes item filter so you can find any item)
you will get id of every item ingame you want without having to resort to wiki
I tried that, too. Only spawns the vanilla piece.
Edited to add, I've never tryed this on a stack of items, it may be worth a try if you have alot to do.
If it doesn't have a refid, then hold down E to grab it and use getplayergrabbedref then spawndupe.
The amod way warmachine suggests above will work on a stack.
