Anyone else getting lost in Vault 88?
The place is huge and the tunnels go all over.

I found two rear exits:
Roxbury Station/Fallon intersection
University Point

I am seriously thinking on making a conveyor belt ride through the vautl with the stuff from Contraptions DLC, lol.

Yup. I ran in circles in my little scrap-fest a couple times before I had a mental picture about what I'm doing.

Need to run around a few more times, I'm convinced I've missed a wall/rockslide or two. Maybe sketch a paper map while I go. Or I might hook up the pip-boy app and watch the local map for hidey holes, if that even works down there.

Side note, it's too bad you can't scrap the stuff in the subway station... may mark that as something to do later with console commands. Also didn't catch the exit in there, so I know I've missed some things.

The only other exit in the entire vault is in that utility area with the ghouls laying around. If you go up the stairs, there's a door to the wasteland but that's about it.

If you had read the original post you would know you are wrong. There is two "emergency exits" at least, making a total of 3 entrances counting the vault door. So you obviously missed an exit.

I am on survival so I have died a few times clearing the vault. After a couple deaths sometimes it becomes confusing on what you cleared and did not clear since you last save, lol.

Legendary Deathskull Radscorpions suck, especially when accompanied by 5 more.

I thought I had cleared all the caves and I was goign back and cleaning out the radioactive barrels and uranium and wandered into death before I could exit the workshop, lol.

Loaded up FO4edit against DLC05Workshop and:

Pretty heavy spoiler, game data...
There are indeed two exits asides from the vault door. I cannot *see* them in FO4edit, but one is a painted door tha exits to 4,-15 (uni point) and the other is a 'road manhole' that exits to -3,-15 (outside west roxbury station) and so exits the vault space via ladder

Which was why I hid it with a spoiler when I posted and hid the mobs I encountered and how I encountered them. no sense in spoiling that "exploring a new area" feeling for someone, lol.

I am not sure which exit I prefer honestly.
The Roxbury manhole is actually in the middle of that 4 way intersection. Still within easy range of the 3 suicide super mutants.

The university point has that lame stealth synth you have to go inside the other building to kill.

The quarry enterance is just a pain and about unapproachable if you try to approach from Hyde Park side. Died once that way on survival pinned in the open between twenty raiders, lol.

not tried it yet, I get lost in lots of places, I avoid siding with Bos cos I get lost on the Prydwen.

Why I hid mine too, this is still very, very new stuff.

Exit preference note: exiting in W Roxbury might be hazardous, but is it convenient enough to use as an 'escape hatch' if you get noticed by boomers?

Prydwen drives me nuts sometimes, but at least there's the forecastle exit from the main area... no need to double-zone to go somewhere, just pop outside and FT. Well, except survival players...

I used to get lost, until I realized that the exit section for the North and North-East sections, where the workshops are, is a separate area that isn't directly connected to the main room like the entrances to the sections.

Look for the piles of rubble leading to tunnels on your left. You should find your way back to the middle.

They would follow you inside. Anything that has aggro on you will changes cells when you do.

I have had raiders chase me outside of Parson's Insitute. I even saw a provisoners brahmin zone into the hospital in Malden when I ran inside, lol.

You could set up defenses by the entrance to save you.
