Great... Vault-Tec reactor I can't even repair.
This DLC really needs fixing Bethseda big time. I can't even repair the vault-reactor you begin with!

I think your probably in the wrong place, or haven't got the stuff required for fixing it.

Are you talking about the unassembled super-reactor in the first cavern area? I don't think that's supposed to be repairable. I think that's just scrap that you can break down into components, which you can then use to build a new reactor.

No am been serious. I build like a draft vault just a test for now. Left the vault to do some exploring. Everything was damaged and it DID NOT ALARM me of any assault or attacks. Reactor cannot be repaired, all of my defenses were destryoed everything :/

No he means the one in the entrance... the same happened to me... but travelling to a different place and back fixed it for me (provided you have a supply line established for the components) ... but I still struggle with electricity... they say, the hallways/floor should work as conduits.. well.. not for me... any ideas?

I see.

I didn't encounter that issue, myself, but I have heard that a lot of people are running into various issues with the new DLC. I guess this is just another one of those issues. :(

They do appear to work as conduits, but if you want to power anything that requires a wire hook-up (such as terminals), you have to plug one of the new Vault Power Conduits into a powered wall and then connect a wire to it. You can find the new Power Conduits under the Power > Connectors & Switches menu.

I have seen that some of the different room sets don't appear to transfer power correctly between each other, but this can be circumvented by linking any uncooperative rooms with the aforementioned Power Conduits. It's not always pretty, but it generally works.

I find this DLC a disastor to be honest. This DLC was released unfixed and it seems it wasn't tested correctly at all. I may have to get the mod what someone made for it :(

glad i modded defense missions out of my game. On the upside you can always just make another reactor. The one i use is the 500 power reactor myself.
Slybby Jul 27, 2016 @ 1:59am
Got the same Problem the 150 power Reaktor in near the Entrance, the 100 Water Purifier and the Vault 88 Radio Beacon to get New Vault members are dmgd and cant be Repaird.

So i send some "normal" settlers to vault 88 but you cant equip them a Pip boy and this sucks.

Yeah I have the issue about it aswell. Can't repair anything. :/

I built a secondary reactor - the 100 Power Fusion one - near the Vault Tec Water Purifier thing, as Vault structures built in this area don't appear to be able to draw on the Main Entrance Vault Tec Power plant.

However, for an unknown reason, this 100 Power Fusion plant blew up and I had to repair it. No evidence of an attack or anything, so not a clue what happened.

I'm finding vault building to be VERY clunky indeed with snap-points being very temperamental and objects that do visually fix perfectly simply not working correctly at times. It's doubly annoying that the Vault Power things cannot connect to any part of the existing entrance area - I had to resort to basic conduits and wires.

Still, I now have a fairly large vault, with a farming area in the Atrium, shops, a large living area and things appear to be progressing. However, it's not quite what I tried to create initially. My plan is to try to link my main vault to the water purifier, but not sure if that's possible.

Vault Tec Workshop has been an interesting, if frustrating, experience thus far...

I feel the fustration. It's driving me crazy. From my point of view. It's simply impossible to build a vault it really is. Guess am just not creative.

I think if I were to build another vault, it'd be much better - now that I understand the quirks of vault building. For now, my vault will just grow organically, though I'm about 70% through my build allowance, yet there's much I've not even touched on yet. I mean, I just have basic power, food, water & beds in place, plus a few stores. I've not built any room types other than Overseers, Residential and my large Atrium - no Canteen, Security, Medical etc. yet.

I suspect I'll need to increase my build limit to continue before too long.

I chose the one with the various scents - bike blew up and needed to be repaired. I did wonder if this was linked to my Fusion Reactor (100 Power) getting damaged, but that's on a totally separate power grid. It's the Vault Tec (150 Power) Reactor that's linked to the Bike...of course the game could simply be buggy (Bethesda & bugs, surely not? lol) and a random Power Plant was picked to be damaged.
