Report a translation problem
It was when it necroed. But Steam has always had back end issues with linked accounts, along with people forgetting the most basic issue being multiple accounts (some already linked)
Valves back end third party support has always sucked, but people don't think about that. It's why a couple companies simply have products where it activates the launcher... because the account linking breaks too often for them.
Follow the links and open a ticket.
They claim on Reddit that if you're trying to get your free copy of Fallout 76 that as long as you have a ticket in before the 12th, they will still honor it.
Did you have a throwaway or one use account? If it was logged in when you linked, it'll be on that. Your steam account should show links too.
You may need to copy your profile link (the full url to your profile page which has the ID in it to give support to see if it's linked to another account)
I gave them the URL to my profile and asked if they could check which account I have assigned to steam. They still don't want to answer. And tomorrow the time for a free copy of the game on Steam is running out....
