I know when I linked the steam and rockstar social club it was done at rockstar site throw my profile
I tried that, but no mention of account linking there either. Would be a hell lot easier to start with, but unfortuantely... nope, nothing there :(
How do I link my Steam account to my Bethesda.net account?

To link your Steam account to your Bethesda.net, open Fallout 4 and select Mods from the main menu. From there, you will be prompted to log into your Bethesda.net account. Once complete, your Bethesda.net account will be linked to your Steam account and you will be able to add and remove mods from your in-game mod library.

appears when you are trying to link a Bethesda.net Account to an account that already has a Bethesda.net Account associated with it. and that i should unlink it but there Is no UNLINK OPTION on website . : ( someone can help how to fix it?
It can also be a big issue with Steam's backend. Right now I can't browse the store too well without being given the prompt to log back in again.
They can be linked. Bethesda, and many other companies do it. Especially mmorpgs for linking purchases from steam to an account
I think I read about other people having issues right now.
It would be just like Bethesda to tell everyone to link their accounts to get a free copy of the game, then break the account linking process and then deny everyone a copy.
Looks like lots of people are having this issue: https://bethesda.net/community/category/200/bethesda-net-feedback?language%5B%5D=en
The copy aint free just because you link accounts.
You had to have a copy of the game registered on Bethesda.net.
