Bug with equipping Pipboys

I cant seem to ab able to equip settlers pipboys anymore. Only ones that worked was 2 of the first settlers. The others just get their pipboy lying in inventory.

Am i the only one with this bug?

I have the same bug except I have problems equipping pipboy to the second settler. I heard that you don't equip pipboy to the settler it is supposed to disappear from settlers inventory allmost immediatly after u put it and leave the give items screen thing

I gave dwellers to my pipboys, :3 Takin their freedom wih my wristband gameboy.

clem is a bit of an idiot, I wanna somehow get him killed in a nasty accident with a test.

I found this happens if you keep picking up more than 5 pipboys. If it happens, drop all your pipboys on the floor at once (you will notice they group up into groups of 5 or 7 or 2 or whatever, bit weird). Take one group of them and try to equip them, if its not working, drop that "group" and try another. This has worked for me a few times now. Also making them equip the vault suit first (or unequip / re-equip it) seems to help but I can't say for sure.

Didnt know it was a bug only clem put it on in my playthrough.

I found the fix, once you take Pipboy from brown Pipbox and stick it in your vault inventory it breaks it. Leave those in a Creat and go grab a new one. They are brown box's that say Pipboy. Grab one at a time. There are 3 of boxes in vault entrance. :)

Pip-boys can be equipped by anyone you can trade and equip with, except curie i hear. If you're alright with console commands, have none in your inventory when trading with the settler, additem x004bd3 1 (x was 4 for me), and put it in their inventory. Worked 100% for me for at least 15 times. Otherwise use ones from the crates.

Curie wears it just fine in human form.
