How do i get heavy synth armor?

I am level 47, and i have cleared out makrah fishpacking and university point. everytime i go to the Instutute the vendor does not have it. PLEASE HELP.

I just recently completed a Full set of Heavy Synth Armour with a field helmet. I didn't get the last couple pieces from Makhra i just got them from random or specific synth encounters when i was doing other things. It's also a good idea just to keep the Heavy variants because you may need it later -it's also safer to keep because you might get rid of it only to need it again later. Higher level = better chance to. So keep levelling i guess. Killing synths is the easiest choice but not if you aren't against the Institute.

What level were you when you got the pieces of armor?

Kill more synths. They are all over the place, not just those two locations. Also, pretty sure the requisitions synth's inventory expands as you pursue the institute quest line (including some unique pieces)

I have explored pretty much all the reccomended locations and i just finished clearing another one. i have beat the instutute quest line. i am level 47 but everywhere i go the synths have normal synth armor.

Is there a certain level i have to be for the vender at the instutute to have the armor?

I am a lot higher level then you are at this time so my chances are a LOT higher. I am level 122 at this point in time. Heavy Synth armour is much less common then leather, combat, metal and robot in some cases, in my opionion. With Contraptions is easy to get heavy leather, combat and metal now. Just keep getting levels and exploring synth locations and you should get a full set eventually.

Since I installed the mod that allows me to change the armours that have the variants of normal/sturdy/heavy at will, I do not need to care what exactly drops.

Yeeah no, so far i've searched and there isn't a single id code for any of the set pieces for any version normal/sturdy/heavy.
