Screen resolution keeps changing? But not the settings?
I'm not sure what is causing this problem: My desktop loads nice and crisp, no pixallation, 1080p. When I launch most of the games I own (ranging from New AAA games to indie games) or even going to HD full screen on YouTube, the screen resolution or something seems to display a lot lower than it is set, causing gross pixallation and making small text hard to read. When I "Alt-Tab" out of a game that looks like dirt, my desktop also looks like dirt. When I check all my video settings in-game, desktop, video card, etc - all are showing 1920x1080 settings... My monitor is set to not scale anything and at full pixels, so I can't find where this change in resolution is happening. Am I missing something?

In Steam go to

Help / System Information

Cut and paste EVERYTHING (scroll down) that appears into a post here.

Sounds like you are low on resources...

Sorry, using a GTX 1070 with a 1080p, Sony Bravia TV... which may be my problem...

It could be.

The TV may not be properly reporting supported resolutions.
