its happened during the silver shroud quest when i was forced to remove my armor and put on the silver shroud armor. i used the player.setav carryweight 9999999999. i tried reusing the console command but to no avail.

Er.... have you tried setting it to something a little more reasonable? You may have overflowed the variable.

You do know upon evey game exit that the carry weight goes back to it's default carryweight and your player.setav carryweight 9999999999 weight is lost upon ever exit

you have to enter that carryweight cheat each game launch, re-enter it each game launch again!..

Use modav instead of setav.

The modav weightcheat causes game crashes and is a The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim only I'm pretty sure

The Carryweight carries over with setav until you enter/exit a power armor. Setting the Value too high though makes the console go crazy. If you try to give yourself more than 60k money in one go it might only give you 2k sometimes.

or you install a carry weight mod that does all the stuff these people told you above, and more.

So much misinformation in here wow... SetAV is temporary and will be modified by anything else that also changes that variable.
ModAV is permanent and modifies the base stat, not a variable.
Use ModAV for carryweight and use a reasonable 5 digit number, higher than that will have unpredictable affect (meaning that you'll get a random number instead of what you typed, it wont crash your computer or the game).
I have mine set at 3000.

The reason some of you crash is because you have too many items in your inventory (all of that requires memory space and time to process the information every time you open your inventory or there is an inventory change).

I wouldn't go above 65536 in any case.

As for the caps? that's just a number I have several million caps and no problems except for empty merchants ;)
