Scraping the foundation
..like when you are cleaning up Sanctuary and want to make room for a farm where one of the ruined houses were located.

Is this possible in vanilla or do I need a mod like Scrap Everything?

I really did search for an answer but 93 posts and nobody seems to have asked this specific question.

Hmmm. When I open the console and click on the foundation of an exiting house in Sanctuary (after scrapping the house) I get the message:

Picked Non Ref AV Object ""

Yeah, no problem. I appreciate your help. After cleaning up Sanctuary I just wanted to remove one of the old foundations to make room for a farm. I guess they are "special" objects in the game. I'll try a mod.

I'm just surprised with all the videos and guides for building settlements that I seem to be the first person to want to remove one of the old foundations. It just seemed like something everyone would try to do. I even watched a video called "100% Clean Santuary Hills" and thought, "This is it!" But no, he never tried to remove the existing foundations, just used a bunch of mods to put the buildings back to their pre-war condition.

Thanks again.
