I figured wtf lets try and fix this and emptied all my inventory including what I was wearing minus stem packs, radaway, purified water and cooked food. popped a bunch of all and drank the water I needed then slept 24hrs.
I know this a dif circumstance but its worth a shot
Hey, thanks for your response. I appreciate it very much. I didn't want to take drastic measures but for some reason I thought of a stupid idea and it ended up working! I fiddled with survival and made my AP bar worse (fatigue, carrying too much) forcing it to change in length. Then I began applying the necessary fixes (stimpacks, water, food, etc) and lo and behold the bar refilled. For whatever reason I had to do it in survival mode before it would go away. Either way it worked, so this is solved. And thank you for the advice anyway. I was almost about to resort to it. There are a few other issues that I feel your advice might be able to remedy so I'll be using it on those issues. Happy scavenging!
Happened to me once, but it was 16 rads. I just TGM'd real quick on load, FT'd, and save/quit/reloaded a few times and it eventually went away. No idea of the cause, maybe I'd caught a flash from a radstorm during a previous save and "caught" it as default.
I think it all had to do wiith me switching in and out of survival. I have a mod that allows me unlimited activations of it and I needed to do something important that required me to be outside survival to fix a small issue thru console commands. I think I was not properly fixed when I did and for whatever reason instead of resetting things ("you are properly fed/hydrated", etc) it remained as if I were still in survival.
Could you please tell me if "very hard" has things like thirst and fatigue or is it just survival? While I find the immersion and extra challenge fun, I wanted to know what difficulties housed these. The only reason I ask is I've gotten condradictory info from a lot of people ranging from "it's in survival only" to "survival amps up the supplies you need to become properly fed/hydrated or cured of illness." For example, where I'd need like three purified water to hydrate, survival would make it six. I don't know if any of that is true.
Thanks for your input! This issue is solved however. I appreciate it nonetheless.
