Unlimited power armors?
I know the game have a lot of power armors in different locations, but I know too you can get the power armor from some enemies by stealing their fusion core.

So my question is...
these power armors count as "important"?
I mean... if enemies respawn with time, then you can get unlimited power armors from them?

Several respawn, including at Quincy and Hub City Auto Wreckers.

You can also buy Power Armor from the vendor on the Prydwen and from the Atom Cats Garage.

The breaking point would be how good you are at getting enemies to get out of their suits of power armor. If you don't do that, then you'd run short on frames. Additionally there's a hard limit on the amount of X-01s available in the game. If you're not careful about where you go before you hit level 28-30, you will end up with a lot fewer X-01 suits.

If you're patient you can buy X-01 parts from the Atom Cats Garage. They aren't stocked very often, but I have built a whole suit that way.

Good point. I personally would never have the patience to track days and go back to a vendor over and over. I barely had the patience to stay in one place long enough for the Benevolent Leader achievement. :steamhappy:

What he meant was only certain frame locations can have X-01 armor at them. Since frames are level based for what is inside them if you go too early you will not get X-01 armor.

Now what he meant by running short on frames I have no clue. Considering you have three vendors to buy frames from (Arturo, Rowdy, and BOS) and they restock every two days or so.

Power Armour frames mostly do not respawn, some power armours respawn in places but raiders or gunners usually hop in them before you can, but if you get to it before them you can get the armour and the Frame for free. Specific power armour locations do not respawn, like those at crashed vertibirds or pre-war sites.

KL30 also sells them in Goodneighbor. I found out the hard way that visiting a cell locks in what level Power Armor you can find there.:steamfacepalm:

I buy them in diamond city. Always power frames there

Thanks you all for answering.

So if I do not reach level 28 or more, and I go to a place where there is an X-01 suit, and instead there is another power armor in place, I can then return later to the same location to see if there is already an X-01 suit?

Just curiosity.

No. Once you enter a cell like people say, the power armour will spawn and it will be level related. So just save a few places untill you are a higher level.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you!

There is no limit on how many Power Armor sets you can collect. I have 300+ sets of BOS T-60 PA in a shed on Spectacle Island. All of them from wandering BOS patrols and The Prydwen, Just pickpocket the FC and they exit the PA. Then Setownership and walk away, You can get unlimited Tesla PA from Ivey as well Just pickpocket the FC shoot her ressurect and repeat.

You can only buy 4 power armor frames per shop reset, and every shop reset will also generate 2 full suits of T-60 + a bunch of other parks. It is really easy to get more armor than you have frames to put them on. (Stolen frames are not nearly as limited)

Atom cats has like a 5-10% to generate 1 piece of X-01 per reset. (Shops inventory is set when you choose the barter dialog option, so if you are cheesy you can quicksave right before.)

But since getting settlers to use power armor is a royal pain, you don't really need 300 suits...
