Intuitive designs?
What is this intuitive designs perk that doesn't seem to exist? I wanna know because googling it doesn't seem to work. It's locking me out of building certain things.

I am having the same issue, I have looked online and in game, there is no sign of this perk. I took both ranks of local leader, but still no joy.

I can find no such beast in the vanilla game/DLC files. Running any mods?

I don't know about "intuitive designs" (perhaps it's from the contraptions DLC?) but there is a set of magazines, titled "Picket fences," that teach you how to build different things.

Get a screenshot of the build screen where you're locked from building an item, and post it.

I'm still convinced this is modded content...

Yeah, would definitely help if you were to detail what it is you're trying to build...

its in the Another Life alternate start mod, the classes in it all have special perks that you cant actually get from leveling up as far as i can tell. the workbenches that use the intuitive design perk unfortunately dont hide if you dont have the perk

Thank you so much! This was driving me nuts. It would have never occurred to me that the alternate start mod was the culprit. :P

Did you find out?
FYI, from the mod's page:

Craftsman
Gear:
- Board
- Flannel Shirt and Jeans
- Assorted Components

Perk: Intuitive Designs
- You can construct workbenches without any of the requisite perks, and the material cost itself is lower.

It's a perk that comes from one of the classes you can choose. It doesn't lock you out of anything that you couldn't already do, it's just an ALTERNATIVE structure that you can build for half-cost, if you have that class.

YOu guys could, you know, always just go and read the descriptions of the mods you're installing. Because they, you know, tell you what the mods does.
