Marine combat armor boots

So I always disliked the fact that there weren't boots for this armor but the other day I noticed that in the menu image it shows it has them. I've done a bit of looking around and haven't had much luck on finding a mod or fix for it. Anyone know anything I don't seem to?

I found them quite easy (except the helm).
- Complete Set from DIMA cache
- Try luck on Kane, weapon/armor dealer in the Nucleus. I got more after i invest in his store. Wait 48 hours and always got almost whole set (beside helm)

Just kill one of the Children of Atom and take the armor, it looks different but it can be upgraded through the armor workbench.

No, not the leggings, the BOOTS on the leggings. The mesh for them isn't there except in the menu.

Did you try collecting all the marine armor caches?

I have all the armor pieces, the mesh for the boots on the leg armor is missing in game but it shows it in the menu when you look at the model for the item. That's what I'm talking about.

Are you sure the model isnt just wearing a marine wetsuit underneath?

Positive, take a look for yourself. Inspect one of them in your inventory.

The Op is correct, the inspect version is armoured whilst the iplayable version is not. Oversight or a consious choice by Bethesda will will never know, but this can only be fixed by modders.

Sadly I haven't been able to find any mods for it. Hell, I've only seen one other person even mention it. Guess it doesn't bug very many people =/

Honestly, the boot probably clipped with the leg piece when moving and Bethesda just cut it rather than fix it.

I'd have to wonder why they drew the line with that after all the horrible clipping with rifles and chest armor.
