well, theres your answer.
suuuure, minimum requirements says you can play the game, but would you really want yourself to become frustrated, by deliberately trying to play a game at 5fps?
well ill try it soon and ill hopefully get an answer,I used to be able to play on very low and was able to get a steady 30-50 fps until 1.3 came out, all the textures were glitched and the game was unplayable.
that might actually be solved by verifying game cache through steam.
if not, there are a ton of mods that might help you. go to the nexus, and search for texture optimilization mods. there are also mods that disables grass sprites and remove peddle rocks, decrease shadow quality to bare minimum and the sorts. they make your game look like doom 1, but everything neccesary to make your game work on that crappy laptop you couldnt be bothered to buy with even a little decent graphics card.
