Everythings moving really fast...
So I recently redid my mod build, and my game is running beautifully. However, when I try to do things like use my arrow keys to scroll menus, lockpick, hack or any other action like that, I scroll SUPER fast. For the lockpick the mouse is at the same sensitivity for when I'm positioning the bobby pin, but then when I press D to turn the screwdriver it turns to fast for me to react to and breaks my bobby pin almost immediately. Also the loading screen vault tec logo pulses extremely fast. Not sure whats causing it but it's beginning to become a nuisance.

Turn vsync back on.

I use the xbox 360 controller for windows, but I'm pretty sure there's a setting in the games menu to change the mouses sensativity settings or acceleration

check your ini's.

[Display]
iPresentInterval=0

if your line is set to 0 try setting it to 1
like gamcull said, turn vsync back on but check your ini anyway.

Did both and nothing has stopped fast moving bobby pins. What next??

If your running Nvidia, check your vsync settings in the Nvidia control panel. Also you can turn on the Steam overlay and check your FPS. I almost bet your running super fast fps on those screens.

yep.
the lockpick screen can be really fast due to a high framerate.
a bit like the command console @ the title screen.

(i use modded locks and bobbypins. my pins dont break at all, but every lock takes Ages to open and sometimes its just virtually impossible. for me its cool that way.)

but yeah, as shortwind said, the lockpick screen is always pretty quick.
i use 'D' on the keyboard to twitch the lock rotation and reduce the dpi on my mouse for the pin rotation.

(i admit though, without unbreakable pins, the speed of rotation can cause you to break more pins than you usually would)

well heres the skinny, run something that displays your FPS. and go into the lock pick screen in game.

if your over 70fps, thats a problem. vsync absolutely has to be on for those screens or some kind of FPS limiter to keep it at 70 or below. otherwise it will run at an accelerated rate.

i used to enjoy lock picking at 400fps, i had a knack for vanilla lock picking i'd have a master lock open after 5 pick breaks like that.
