Removing Cabin in Sunshine Co-Op
I have removed all of the old cabins in Sunshine Co-Op and I am rebuliding that settlement. I got rid of the old cabins with consule commands (disable, markfordelete) but there is one cabin (the one next to the silos; north end; the one missing the north wall) that I can't get rid of. I can't get a ref id when I click on it in consule mod and Spring Cleaning has no effect on it as well. Does anyone with actual knowledge know how I counld get rid of this run down cabin?

That's strange, I use spring cleaning and once cleared out every single structure and building in Sunshine Co-Op and had nothing but bare ground, I even cleared out the mounded ground for crops!..

did you add the line bUseCombinedObjects=0 to your Fallout4.ini

here's my notes on it from my text document on ini tweaks

VERY IMPORTANT! You will need to edit your Fallout4.ini for this mod to work simply add the line below to the [General] area at the top of the file.

bUseCombinedObjects=0

Should look something similiar to this:
[General]
sLanguage=en
uGridsToLoad=5
uExterior Cell Buffer=36
bDisableAllGore=0
bUseCombinedObjects=0

This ini line tells the game to use the Fallout4.esm worldspace without merged geometry records and thus allows you to select all static objects in the game world.

I have scrap everything (an alternative to spring cleaning) and it allowed me to scrap that cabin. If you're having trouble getting the ID of something, move around a bit then try again, something invisible might be bocking your view. The settlement border itself is an object that can be selected and that cabin is right on the border.

I added that last line and bingo it worked...sort of. I was able to scrap the junk associated with the cabin which I could not before. I was ablre to scrap the cabin itself with the consule commands.

So, thank you very much, I am in your debt. When the Zombie Apocolypse hits, if you ever make it up to northern Wisconsin, you shall have safe haven in my fortified town :steamhappy:

I got it to work thanks to Craigstre's help. Prior, I was not able to get any id no mater what I did; I moved around and could never get a lock. Anyway, thanks for your input.

in sanctuary I scrap everything I can including the yellow grass mounds near the sidewalks and curbs, I always remove that big dead tree in the roundabout and place a park there a statue with four park benches in the roundabout center circle

I leave the big tree but add the minuteman statue. I was able to scrap everything in Sanctuary but was having problems with the cabin in Sunshine. So far I rebuilt Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Abernathy, Tenpines Bluff, Coastal Cottage, Outpost Zharma (?) and am working on Sunshine. I have some details to complete; waiting on a mod with the bathroon sink set to be completed, etc. I rebuild using the concrete building structures; I build condos for the settlers, tarverns with shops, weapons and armor facilities, barracks, I rebuilt my old house (for Piper and my character) and I also use them to build walls with laser gun emplacemets around each settlement. Some settlemst are civilian others are military.

***UPDATE*** Adding that line help and I was able to delete the cabin with my consule. However, it had a strange effect with making parts of my settlement and surrounding buildings flicker on and off as I moved around. I deleted the line and everything went back to normal....unfortunately the cabin reappeared.

yea that bUseCombinedObjects=0 line is only recommended for those with lots of memory and a good graphic card and is known for causing that issue, I remember one mod author adding this in his mod description page "if you think your pc can handle it" add that bUseCombinedObjects=0 to Fallout4.ini file

It's more your motherboard ram that's a bottleneck for fallout 4, if you want good performance you need at least 2100mhz ram or better. Just something to think about in the future.

Isn't Ghz bigger than Mhz? Wouldn't 3.60Ghz be faster than 2100Mhz or wouldn't it be 2.1Ghz? Am I missing something?

I have a ASUS Desktop PC D20AJ Series Computer...got it from Best Buy. It was the best gaming one they had; it is only six months old. I know most of the serious gamers build their own gaming computers.
