Help. Stuck in THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE (contains spoilers)

Alright, so I'm playing the quest The Way Life Should Be from Far Harbor. I want to convince DiMA to turn himself in, and was given the option previously, but I accidentally told him to keep the secret while under the impression that I was telling him to hold on and keep it under his hat for the time being until I made a decision about what to do, and now the option to turn himself in is gone. I haven't acted on anything pertaining to DiMA's situation yet. Is there any way to get the option back?

The options when I speak with him are "I'm with the Institute", "I'm with the Brotherhood", "Replace the Confessor", and "Nothing for now".

TheBigBearBoy #1: I forget what the specific options were, but I think one was something along the lines of "Convince DiMA to turn himself in" one was aproximately "Keep it a secret" and the third was a third active course of action. I wanted to hear more about the options so I told him to keep it a secret under the assumption that, since not telling anyone is a lack of any action rather than an action, I could tell him at any time to stop keeping it a secret.



Staberind #2: That might be difficult, seeing as I kept The Way Life Should Be on the back-burner for a long time so I could do other quests while I made my decision. I wouldn't even know what save to start with.



TheBigBearBoy #4: Oh, it wasn't anything I did, unless you count refusing to be bullied into using a bogus "security features" that's really nothing more than a placebo button that does nothing to protect account security as an action.



Staberind #2: I finally decided to just suck it up and do as you suggested. Loaded a previous save... and somehow my glitch-deleted Tesla power armor was magically returned to me, a miracle for which I am not ungreatful.

Well, I'm glad its sorted, but it sucks to loose so much time, however, I have lost count of the amount of restarts I have done to add new or different content & have it actually work. my one hot tip : ()two actually() Get "water2water" you can zap yourself to whatever level you like by just hitting the "E" key a lot.
Get a mod that enhances scrap, and fo4edit it so houses and cars give the kind of things a house or car might have in it, among other things.
