Sanctuary Houses Not Rendering?
So after spending an enormous amount of time in Far Harbor, I came back to Sanctuary just to see this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=708707510. I have no idea why its like this as it wasn't like ths before. Any ideas as to why this happens?

I have a crappy video demonstrating this bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcQh5X7lORs

Not rendering or are they not there?

Question: If you walk to where you know there was a wall before, do you bump into an invisble wall are just walk through where the wall was?

Sorry cannot watch the video at this time, but can take a look at it in about 2 hours

This happened to me once or twice it probably has to do with having too much stuff in the town in workbenches, containers, buildings etc. Also the recent DLC added more stuff to the workshop which in turn affect memory and performance. It went away in my case by reloading a save.

It could also be corrupted files, I had another similar problem not here but in Skyrim where houses in Whiterun would not render, went away after validating the game cache.

Probably some console peasant stole your houses and uploaded them to Bethesda.net

On a serious note, I had this happen last night with the Red Rocket.

I got there and the floor was completely missing, the sign was pixelated, the inner walls were missing along with the doors etc

Yeah I would try a steam verify. Also it could possibly be a issue that's now locked into your saves so start a new game or load a very early save, if sanctuary is rendering fine then it could be a borked save file which would be worse case scenario. Mods also can cause issues like this but that depends on if you use any that heavily modify sanctuary or even texture mods that are corrupt. You could try reinstalling any texture mods you have that modify building or terrain.

I've tried reloading my saves a lot and it just doesn't render. Not even on a new game will the houses render.

Yeap, same thing here. Just gone! They did magically reappear later though after a follow on save.

If this is the case. Check if you have any mods that alter textures such as texture overall mods and reinstall them via nexus mod manager or whatever you use. Do a steam verify first though.

There's a memory hole if you want to call it that in the Sanctuary-Red Rocket border around the bridge. This causes stutters when you pass the area, but generally when the game has advanced and you have built or stored too much in Sanct, RR, or both. Now that I recall, I had the lack of rendering once in RR too and it was because I had built it up a lot. Maybe that's why they set the building limit of RR so low. Perhaps it isn't such a cool idea to use that mod that liberates the limit, what's its name? Infinite settlement budget. I'll consider removing it from my game.

Well, I don't have any texture mods and verifying the game through Steam didn't fix anything either.

OK a long shot your texture files might be corrupted or missing for whatever reason and the verification misses it. Try reinstalling, first uninstall and also make sure to remove any leftover files manually.

Okay so I tried that and that didn't even work. I really don't know whats going on here.
