How to make energy weapons ammo?

so the various builder options are locked behind various perks.

But the ammo builder and energy weapon builder don't make energy weapon ammo.
No microfusion cells, plasma cartridges or fusion cores.

Are they locked behind some perk I ain't noticed yet or is it something else?

Aparently you can't make energy ammo.

You can buy tons of it from merchants though.
The ammo crafting in this DLC is too expensive.

Loot weapons, upgrade with cheapest parts, sell for high price then buy the ammo. Unfortunately I dont think there is a better way.
Ofc it doesnt make a ton of sense to be able to craft fusion cells in your garage. Unless your like.. Jimmy Nutron and have a huge lab under that garage.

I think there is a mod for this though. Can always hit up the Nexus for your Bethesda gaming needs.
