Finding Mr. Gutsy

Let me apologize, as I'm kinda new to this game. I know it's been out for a while, and I'm just now getting a chance to play it.

So, I was making my way to Diamond City eary in the game. I think I was level 7 or so. I'm waking up a street, and see a house that has an open door. I decide to investigate and it has a robot in there. he starts spouting off stuff about the war, and worse yet, is shooting lasers at me. When I moused over him, i saw his name was Mr. Gutsy. There was another robot in tehre with him. This guy seemed to be even tougher. Both shot lasers at me. I was no match, and eventually ran away.

So I decide I want to go back to him later, after I have power armor and a minigun, but for the life of me, I can't find him. I can't remember where that house was.

Anyone know where I can find this darn robot? Shoudl I wait til I'm leeled up more before taking him on?

That sounds like a random occurance. You ran away, they despawned.

I'm pretty sure that is just a random encounter. I know that it isn't a unique enemy, the reason I am only pretty sure is because I think I found one in a house as well on my first trip to diamond city, but that is probably just a coincidence.

There is a couple static spawns of Mr Gutsy.

One is just up the hill form national Guard Training grounds.

The Gunners have one in a static spawn, can not remember where.

There is one inside Watts Consumer Elecronics.

The one you talk to is a random encounter. It is the one barking orders about a curview.

I met one as a random encounter at like level 7 near Drumlin Diner on survival. Needless to say I was dead in one shot.

If you found the one with the curfew You missed out on some funny Stuff. I've been looking for that random Gutsy forever now.

I think if you are the male sole survivor you can talk to him with a speech check. I have yet to be able to get the speech check as the female sole survivor. Probbaly because he has the veteran background where she does not.

I have found him all over. Not Tucker Bridge but the next one over, Drumlin Diner, The Train tressel south of Oberland, Cambridge Red Rocket, and Sunshine Dam. Those the last locations I remember.

OK, good. I spent a good 2 hours looking for him, in power armor. as you know, just walking uses up power cores in that, and I'm only level 9, and broke, so I was getting frustrated. I'll move on to regular missions then.

If you are level 9 there is a good chance he still would have killed you in that power armor, lol.

haha, probably. But I wanted to try. Actually, I did fight him a bit the first time. I got him down to about 25% health, but that protectron that was with him kept taking shots at me too. I couldn't take both out. I was running out of stims.

Mr Gutsy, is not an npc,
Mr Gutsy is a version type of Mr. Handy, there are several of them around.

sounds like General Atomics Galleria. or random.
