F4SE

So, I uninstalled all my mods, then reinstalled them. Now when I want to launch the game with F4SE it tells me that I have a newer version of the game then supported. So I went to to the interwebs, got F4SE, replaced the files and still the same message?

Because to use F4SE you need to wait an updated version which supports the current build of FO4.

f4se needs to be updated. it says so on the website where you (presumably) got f4se

So...there has been a recent update to Fallout 4 then? Because if not, then I have the right F4SE build.

yesterday there was a small pre-dlc-release patch

Yes, it was updated very recently (yesterday maybe?)

It tells me I need to update my game even though it is updated. My daughter family shares her account with me, she said she gets the same message as well.

So now we just don't use any mods that require the script extender.

yeah, 1.5.307 is the current f4 patch. now just to continue our wait for f4se to catch up :D

I will, am on the f4se site now and indeed see that they're actively working on an update for that version of f4.

for now, it'd be best to disable them until the new SE is out. shouldn't disable too much except achievements, xD
