Blowing off the Minutemen.

just out of couriosity, what happens if you ignore the minutemen quests. i know you will still meet nick and go on with the main story, but will they eventualy end up in sancuary or just mill around in concourd? i assume there will eventualy be a quest that brings you back without any choice.

they will stay battling in concord til you walk through the door to help them. My second play through , I left them there for most of the game. They do not go to Sanctuary on their own.

Nothing will happen. You can go through the whole storyline without the Minutemen (I did and it works).

I always want to know what will happen if you killed brother Thomas( the leader of that cult: Pillar of society) before you start Cabot house quest.
Because in the original quest Cabot's sister ran away with Thomas, but since I killed him long time before that... Will his sister still run away?

I am not sure, I killed him once but only after I failed speech check

If the player does not currently have the quest Emogene Takes a Lover, then Thomas will not be at the Amphitheater. Instead, an identical NPC named either Andrew, James, Matthew, or Simon will be there in his place. They are essentially the same person, but the name Thomas won't appear until the quest is started.
