[SOLVED] Bugged Long Road Ahead

First of all, I'm aware that there are thousands of threads to this but I am searching MacCready.
Second of all, I'm playing on xBox One so console commands for solving my problem would rather not be helpful. I just wanted to try asking you guys first before signing in on a new forum and I don't think that this problem has to do something with a certain console.

I started his quest where i get have to bring him to Med-Tek Research in order to get the cure for his son. I didn't have him being my companion when he gave me the quest and after accepting the quest he went from Sanctuary (where I talked to him) to Med-Tek. After that I haven't seen him.
Med-Tek Research didn't have the quest marker over it but luckily I had already found it.
I had searched him before going there and didn't find him so i just went inside thinking that he could be waiting there for me. Now there's this quest marker in the lobby right after the enterance but when I go there nothing happens.

I have been searching him for quite some time now and it is very frustrating. I just don't want to continue the game until I find this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and end the quest. After looking this problem up on the internet I have done almost anything one yould possibly do. I searched Sanctuary multiple times, searched Med-Tek, the Third Rail in Goodneighbor and even went broke into a house in Diamond City because one person found him there.

I would really like to get on with this game so I hope one of you hasthe solution for me.

If it was that easy I would have done it. The autosaves have overwritten that time and I would fall back A LOT in my game

Use console to find him or move him to you. It's a console command ID moveto.player. Just look up his ID. And you'll need the correct syntax, can't remember if it's ID moveto.player or moveto.player ID.

Seriously, I would leave too if you abandoned me in the middle of my important life's quest. Some friend and companion you are.

Well I think OP said he is a console player not PC...

I have no idea but I believe there is a mod about locating all companions on map.
Maybe you can try search on Bethesda.net to see if that mod author upload that mod for Xbox
